Hey guys, I'm Jane.

So yeah, this blog has been around for 3 years.. meaning it's in desperate need of a NEW about me. For shits and giggles, you can check out my SUPER RIDICULOUS OLD ABOUT ME. Kind of cute right? Haha! 

Anyways,

My name is Jane, owner of the shop shegreetstheday. I'm nineteen years old with a mad passion for fashion. I'm a current full time university student and a part time dreamer of design and creativity. San Diego, CA is where I call my home. Lover of travelling and immersing myself into new places. Thank goodness for smartphones with cameras & instagram, saves me time. Although once in a while I'll bust out the good ol' dslr. Obsessed over anything yellow, shoes that make me 5 inches taller (currently standing at 5'0), and the french delicacy I like to call "pretty patties" (french macarons). 

About the blog:

I started this blog more than 3 years ago just to have a platform for expressing my creativity and love of current trends, lifestyles, food, music, etc! I also wanted a place to write about the journey through the world of handmade glory known as Etsy. Before creating this blog, I created my shop. I didn't think it was enough for me to simply put my name (well, shop name) out there without people putting a face to it. So the blog was essentially for me to let people know who I am and what I'm all about :) 3 years later, the desire for blogging hasn't changed at all. So with that said....

Helllooo!

I'm here, back from a busy past few months. Before, during, and even after my sister's wedding, it has been hectic with family over and always going out. I never really had a moment to sit and blog, or even browse through blogs. Now that it's all winding down and i finally get to start blogging/etsying/browsing for inspiration/etc, i've decided to start creating more and updating things again. BUT, the bad news is :( my camera is gone right now! Sad sad sadness. I freaked out cause well, how else am i supposed to share what i've been up to or the places where i've been. Anyways, the first crafty thing i've done was that i made a snood scarf thing (scarf/hood?). I've been wanting one since last year, lol and i finally had time to make one. A yard and something inches of yellow greyish jersey fabric with ends sewn together, and there it is, my own snooood! yay! here's a webcam pic

So school's almost over! Yay! Many are already done with school and i'm still stressing out the final weeks of my junior year. I really hate the fact that I get out later than most people, but it's okay because school can be fun sometimes...HA HA! Okay well hopefully summer will be very productive. Lots more blogging and promoting etsy, and not to mention more funventures with friends ;D But of course that's not until after my sister's wedding. Family from Australia are coming here! "Welcome to SDeezy baby."
Hollywood/Universal Studios, Seaworld, Disneyland, Bay Area, Vegas, and wherever else. Oh, the places we will go. I can't wait! Finally some excitement. I also can't wait for my sister's wedding! PHOTOBOOTH FUN yay! And being part of the bridal entourage (maid of honor, tyvm) we'll be making our entrance to the reception to the bubbly words and beats of Katy Perry's "California Gurls." Thas how we do it in CALI.. Mhmm ;)
I'm still finishing up her cake topper (it's love birds) so i'll show that in the next post.

Man, i really need to make a list of THINGS TO DO - summer style.

Busy days

Sorry for the absence! Busy with school and dance practices at the moment. Currently have not been having a life, lol but after this saturday (a performance we've been practicing for) my weekends and certain week days will be back to normal. Just stopping by here to say helloooo!
